Confession: I LOVE Valentine’s Day. I often hear people express their dislike for the romance-focused holiday. Well, I’m here to say that I shamefully enjoy the onslaught of corny love notes and glittery hearts. Any holiday that gives me an excuse to shower those I care about with love and affection… count me in!
One of the best things about Valentine’s Day is the excuse to satisfy your sweet tooth. After much anticipation, I'd like to share my Homemade Walnut Nutella recipe that will keep your actual heart as pretty as the ones you see on the Hallmark cards :)
Walnuts are a plant-based source of Omega 3's, the good-for-you, heart healthy fats that we all need more of in our diet. Walnuts can be especially important to include in your diet if you don't eat fatty fish like salmon or tuna, other great animal-based sources of Omega 3 fats.
To help you amp up your intake, let's start with this SUPER SIMPLE recipe that tastes like heaven and you can eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. You choose! Follow @EatWithZest on Instagram to get more easy and fun ideas like the ones in this post!
The only thing you need to make this recipe is a food processor. I literally use mine all the time. If you don't have one, it is time you buy one. It will make your life SO much easier! You can click below to buy this 14 cup Cuisinart.
