Mango Jalapeño Salsa!

After being gifted a Mango by my Zesty partner in crime, Anna, we decided to Taco Tuesday with some tropical flair. 

We started off with whole wheat tortillas.

Then, we browned 99% lean ground turkey on the stove top with cumin, turmeric, coriander, onion powder, garlic salt and pepper.

Next, we diced an avocado and opened up a can of Amy's Organic Refried Black Beans.

To top it all off, I made a mango salsa with just a few simple, fresh ingredients...

Mango Jalapeño Salsa


  • 1 mango
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded 
  • 1 roma tomato
  • 1/8 whole red onion
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, ~1/2 bunch
  • Sea salt to taste

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dice mango, jalapeño, tomato and red onion. Squeeze in lime juice and mix.
  2. Chop cilantro and stir in.
  3. Add sea salt to taste.
